Plan Before You Play
Dummy goes down in a suit contract count your losers Spades and Clubs none - 2 in hearts and 2 in diamonds. contract should make if the opposition don't get in a ruff.
The Play
Lose the diamond lead, win the switch. Use the clubs to enter dummy. Lead a low heart up towards your QH. Lose the diamond return, and ruff a diamond. Win the spade return with the AS discarding a high spade in your hand (entries) and lead another low heart - duck the KH and win the club return. Lead out the third round of trumps and the rest of the tricks are yours.
Comment
Its important to lead low from dummy up to the high cards concealed in your hand - to that end you should ensure you uses both the AS and QC as entries to dummy to draw trumps. If you don not do this you make only 8 tricks and the contract goes light
The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
