Bidding

You open 1C - west overcalls 1S - your partner makes a negative double saying 'partner I have some points (8-9) but can't bid over the opposition's bid. All Pass

You open 1C - west overcalls 1S - your partner makes a negative double saying 'partner I have some points (8-9) but can't bid over the opposition's bid. All Pass

Plan Before You Play

To win as many tricks in your side suit as you can.

The Play

An aggressive lead is called for against this suit contract. Play the AC on partners JC lead followed by the KC then a low club which partner over ruffs. partner leads back the 9H which Declarer wins with AH. Declarer plays AS and then 10S which partner wins with QS. Partner leads QH and KH wins. 10H lead covered by your QC and ruffed by declarer. 9S lead your KS wins, lead your last club which declarer wins, 7D lead partner wins. Ruff partner's heart lead and play AD.
