Plan Before You Play

Dummy goes down and you count your losers. 2 in spades none in hearts and diamonds and 1 in clubs. The contract looks pretty safe.

The Play

Win the diamond lead with the AD, draw 3 rounds of trumps play the KC and then lead low club from hand up to finesse west for QC, cover QC if played. Play all your winning club tricks. Play a low spade, lose to the AS and KS - ruff a low diamond in hand now your QS and heart are high.

Comment
