Plan Before You Play
In NoTrumps count your winning tricks. Spades:1, Hearts:1, Diamonds:1, Clubs:2. you need to develop 4 more winners to make your contract.
Thankfully partner has four heart suit cards headed by the Ace, Queen, and a void in Spades. This void in your strongest suit is a problem for entries into your hand, you will need to be very careful to preserve high cards in your hand until you have established the QC and JC as winners established the and diamond suits in declarer's hand.
The Play
Win the club lead in your hand and lead out the QD(called a direct finesse ), this is your longest suit and you want to try to capture the King to develop more diamond winners. Win the heart return with QH play low in your hand and win with the Queen, (giving you another entry into your hand with the ten and Jack.) Lead the 10H to your JH and then play JD and then the 5D over to the table and play the AD and 10D. Lead a low club up to the JC then lead the QC losing the trick. The club return enables you to win with the last three cards on the table! 11 tricks
Comment
As long as the opposition don't lead spades this hand can make any of the contracts - 3NT 4S, 4H, 6D or 4C. Redeal this hand and try playing in all of those contracts and see!
The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
