Plan Before You Play

Count your losing tricks you can see 1 spade; 1 in diamonds and 1 in clubs. your certain immediate lose AC needs to be lost before you lose the power to ruff the hearts. Delay drawing trumps and lead out the KC, ruff hearts in hand.

The Play

Ruff the lead - 1 round of trumps - lead a high club from hand losing to the Ace (if you are counting you will realise there is only one more club out before all your clubs are high) - get the lead back play JS from your hand and a low one from the table - ruff a low diamond and then draw trumps counting so you know when to stop all the rest of the tricks are yours

Comment

Makes 11 tricks if you lose to the club Ace and finesse the KS to be in wests hand. Delay drawing trumps until you have lost to the AC before you lose the ability to ruff small hearts from the opposition

The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
