Your partner opened, bid of 2D with 6 HCP and a fit; the opposition overcall and get to 3H. With your partners point count (13+) and you count your own...6 HCP you realise that the opposition who can only have a maximum of 21 HCP have a very good chance of going light! Time for a penalty double "X"! All Pass

Your partner opened, you support them with a bid of 2D; the opposition overcall and get to game. With your partners point count (13+) and you count your own...6 HCP you realise that the opposition who can only have 21 HCP have a very good chance of going light!

Time for a penalty double "X" making the punishment extreme for the opposition daring to bid so high with so few points ! All Pass

Plan Before You Play

Lead out your winning tricks before the opposition can cross ruff them.

The Play

Lead the AD and then a low one... You and partner win AD, KD, AS, AH partner ruffs declarers AC 1 light for 200 points
