The Play

Draw all the trumps unfortunately a 4-1 trump split meaning you must play all your trumps to draw out the oppositions holding and risk losing control of the side suits - run the hearts being sure to play the AH in dummy before returning to declarer's hand to run the rest of the low hearts, discard low diamonds on the low hearts, lead out diamonds

Comment

This hand can make 12 tricks if you never lead out the club suit waiting for the opposition instead to help you get 3 winners in clubs.

The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
