Bidding

West opens 1NT, your partner passes, you could make a takeout double with 12 points, some will, but others require 15-17 to double 1NT and will not. All Pass

Acol Bidding

West opens 1C, you make a takeout double "X", West rebids 1S your partner bids 2D. All Pass

Plan Before You Play

Opponents in 1NT; Plan your defense. Partner leads diamonds, then play clubs, letting the opponents lead hearts and spades

The Play

The opposition in 1NT N/S should play diamonds and clubs and QS at every turn. How many light can you take them?

You in 2D/3D Draw trumps ASAP ruffing a losing heart in Dummy.

Standard American: North/South can take this contract 1 light defense. for 50 points undoubled or 100 points doubled.

Acol: North/South makes 3D easily. for 110 points.
