Plan Before You Play
Dummy goes down in 4S and of course the opposition lead a heart. In a suit count your losers none in spades, 1 in hearts 1 in diamonds and 1 in clubs. It looks like the contract is safe. So the plan is draw trumps and lose your losers without losing control of the suits.
The Play
At trick 1 go up with the AH and lead 10S from the dummy, duck and lead the 9S, lead a low spade to the QS. Draw a 4th round of trumps.Lead a low club cover QC with AC, play a low diamond to KD play a second diamond losing to the AD. East returns KH which you lose but ruff the QH, lead a low club and cover opponents JC , the 10C and QD are now good.
