Plan Before You Play

In a trump suit count your losing tricks

The Play

AS lead, ruff and draw trumps. As long as you discard your losing heart on a diamond winner you can make 13 tricks. Doesn't matter what you do. A slam with only 22 points.

Comment

1800 points! well done you. If you have another turn and bid 7C redoubled you can score 2660 points, with only 22 points between you and partner

The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
