Open 1D, west bids 1H, partner bids 2C, rebid 2D. Partner then shifts to 2NT. Many will trust their partner and leave them in this unmakeable contract. Pass if you dare. If you don't rebid 3D. All Pass.

Plan Before You Play
Dummy goes down. Count your losers. Spades: 2 , Hearts:1 , Diamonds:0 , Clubs:0 . With 3 losers you should make 10 tricks playing in diamonds.
The Play
Lose the heart lead, and ruff the heart return. Draw 2 rounds of trumps leaving the QD out to ruff in when they feel like it. Play QC and then cross to clubs in dummy. West eventually ruffs, but you ruff the heart return. Lead a low spade up toward the KS but duck when west plays the AS. Ruff the heart return, and lead a low spade up to the KS, play JC and ruff the last spade.
Comment
Partner has bid Hearts but you have no cover in Spades, so don't be tempted to leave their NoTrump bid in. Its often a hard and thankless task choosing a safer but lower scoring contract. Makes 10 tricks in diamonds but goes light in NoTrumps
The above commentary is intended as a guideline only. As with any Bridge hand there are many ways to bid and play any hand.
